Energy & Attention
Collection
Whitney Wolf’s Energy and Attention series is, definitively, his seminal work and the capstone to his prolific and extraordinary multi-vectored career. He is a towering master now standing proudly upon the shoulders of his mentor, teacher and friend Duane Hanson.
Energy and Attention achieve every sculptor’s ultimate dream of working directly in the final medium of the finished artwork but with the permanence and timelessness of metal (copper and gold in this series.) Wolf captures the fantastical interplay and dramatic visions of dancing plasmas and electric currents as they shape stars, galaxies, and interstellar space. Perhaps more importantly, these forces may be what shapes the space between "Us" at the most human level.
What’s more, he accomplishes all of this, seamlessly, with overwhelmingly eye-pleasing aesthetics that are simply legendary. These works are as good as gold because they are, in fact, made from gold!

The Catalogue
The Whitney Wolf II Art Archives is an ongoing preservation project dedicated to safeguarding and immortalizing the expansive body of work created over his lifetime. Carefully digitized and cataloged by a former student, the archive serves not only as a record of Wolf’s artistic output, but as a living continuation of his intellectual and creative legacy. Spanning distinct phases that reflect his evolving exploration of energy, consciousness, and the structure of reality, each work is preserved with the intention of maintaining both its historical context and conceptual depth. Through this effort, Wolf’s art remains accessible, studied, and reinterpreted for future artists and students.
