Ice Planet

$3,000.00

An ice planet is a type of planetary body whose surface or interior contains enormous amounts of frozen material such as water, methane, ammonia, carbon dioxide, or nitrogen. In the outer Solar System, extremely low temperatures allow substances that would be gases or liquids closer to the Sun to exist as solid ice. Uranus and Neptune are classified as ice giants because much of their interiors are thought to contain water, ammonia, and methane in hot, dense forms beneath their atmospheres.
