Pulsar Wind is a stream of extremely energetic particles flowing outward from a rapidly rotating neutron star known as a pulsar. Pulsars are the dense remnants of massive stars that have exploded as supernovae, leaving behind objects with powerful magnetic fields and extraordinarily rapid rotation. Their rotating magnetic fields accelerate electrons, positrons, and other particles to enormous energies and drive them outward at speeds approaching the speed of light. When this pulsar wind collides with surrounding gas and material, it can create a glowing structure called a pulsar wind nebula.
