A fractal is a structure with patterns that recur at different scales. Zooming into part of a fractal can reveal forms resembling the larger structure, a property called self similarity. Fractal geometry was developed extensively by mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot and is useful for describing complex forms that ordinary geometry struggles to represent. A core simply means the central, innermost, or fundamental part of something. Fractal Core could means a fundamental structure from which repeating patterns and increasing complexity emerge. It evokes the idea that something enormously complicated might originate from a relatively simple underlying rule or pattern.
