Enjoy the fascinating world of physics as seen through the imagination of artist Whitney Wolf. For years. Mr. Wolf has explored possible visualizations of scientific ideas such as chaos. gravitation and expanding space.
Physicists themselves depend primary upon mathematical models to describe quantum reality. This leaves room for an artist to interpret the data creatively, opening up the multiverse to non-scientists as well as to those scientists who would appreciate dynamic and colorful representations of their theories. Multiverse" is a recently coned term to replace "universe" in cases where scientists need to discuss the possibility of more than one kind of universe The paintings, sculpture and lithographs in the exhibit invite the viewer to Imogine the unknown, while enriching his or her understanding of contemporary science "Multiverse" is made possible through the generous endorsements of the Orlando Science Center, Roger Holler, J, the Sunset Gril and other local businesses and organizations.
Whitney Wolf is a research artist of the Maitland Art Center and upper division art instructor of Trinity Preparatory School. As a pioneer in the art-about-science movement. Wolf and his work deserve the recognition of the Central Florida media community
